An amalgamation of work and culture was seen at the Workshop on Doing Business in India – Perspective from Luxury Segment. Eight French students, pursuing MBA in International Hospitality & Luxury Brands Management at IEMI – CMH, Paris had collaborated with sixteen Post Graduate programme students from IIMT (Indian Institut of Management & Technology) to pursue project on bringing French business to India.
Divided in teams to work on the project, Group 4 won the first award for their project on “Implementation of the French ‘Bio’ brand Yves Rocher in India”. Followed by cultural and award ceremony, the IIMT students presented Bhangra while IEMI-CMH students delighted everyone’s taste buds with some mouth watering dishes and the history behind each food item.
The speakers for the workshop were Ms. Mallika Dasgupta, Luxury Retail Manager, the Oberoi, Gurgaon, Mr. Saurabh Wats, Director – Marketing & product Planning – India Operations at General Motors and Mr. Raghavendra Rathore, Fashion and Interior Designer.
